Digital Water Level Recorder DWLR

Digital Water Level Recorder (DWLR)

Digital Water Level Recorder (DWLR) is used to measure the level of groundwater and surface water continuously on a real-time basis. It is supplied with a battery and can work without manual control. The transmitter records level or pressure changes continuously. By setting a proper data collection interval, the transmitter can record from several days to several years. Very low power consumption is another advantage.

Model SLL99 was designed and developed by Swan under the Make In India (MII) program. We are the leading suppliers of DWLRs in India, with over 14,000+ installations. We have supplied under NHP & ABHY projects as well. SLL99 measures with high accuracy, stability, and durability.

Sensor Features:

  • • Titanium / other construction for good automatic control.
  • • Fully sealed, submersible level transmitter with high accuracy.
  • • Uses highly reliable & stable pressure sensor with intelligent processing circuit, precise digital temperature compensation, and linearity correction.
  • • The waterproof cable connects with a sealed housing.
  • • Integrated construction and standard output signal.
  • • Compact size, lightweight, and easy installation and operation.

Datalogger and Telemetry Features:

  • • Inbuilt Telemetry Module for seamless data transfer.
  • • Remote data acquisition through GPRS or GSM protocol.
  • • Data sent to a centralized data collection website.
  • • Captures data in digital (RS485 MODBUS, RS 232) format.
  • • Successfully deployed for applications such as groundwater level meters, weather data, river flow sensors, and pollution data.

Applications:

Widely used in groundwater resources, petroleum, chemical industry, power station, water conservancy, city flood control, and city water supply and drainage.

🌊 Revolutionizing Groundwater Monitoring with Digital Water Level Recorders (DWLRs)

In today’s data-driven world, efficient groundwater management is crucial—and Digital Water Level Recorders (DWLRs) are transforming how we monitor and manage water resources. These devices, also known as Automatic Water Level Recorders or Water Level Data Loggers, offer a smart, reliable, and real-time solution for tracking fluctuations in groundwater levels.

Equipped with pressure transducer sensors, telemetry modules, and often solar power systems, modern DWLRs are ideal for borewell water level monitoring, aquifer assessment, and even rainwater harvesting system tracking. Many advanced models come with GSM/GPRS-based telemetry, enabling seamless remote data transfer to cloud platforms for continuous real-time groundwater monitoring.

Used widely by CGWA, CGWB, and various State Ground Water Departments, DWLRs play a vital role in environmental regulation compliance. They are especially critical for industries and agricultural operations that must install CGWA-compliant water level monitoring equipment in their observation wells.

Whether integrated into a piezometer setup or functioning as a standalone IoT water level monitoring device, DWLRs simplify long-term water table monitoring with high accuracy and low maintenance.

With increasing emphasis on sustainable groundwater use, installing a digital water level monitoring system isn’t just a regulatory necessity—it’s a step towards smarter water management.
